D. Recitation
1. Assistant Imams will remain at each location for entire Ramadan

1. Every Saturday night Dr. Jasser Auda will lead first 8 rakats
1. Isha – Rotating Imam
2. 1st 8 Rakats – Dr. Auda
3. Next 12 Rakats – Rotating Imam
4. Witr – Assistant Imam
e. All Assistant Imams will be present for Isha, all 20 rakats and witr
f. If lead Imam is late, then Assistant Imam will lead Isha and recite next page from where left off last day.
2. Quran in Isha will be towards khatm.
3. Rakat breakdown
a. Main Imams – 12 rakats (~12-13 pages)
b. Assistant Imams – 8 rakats (~8 pages)
c. ½ page to 1 page to be recited during Isha (continuation of recitation towards khatm)
1. Main Imam – 45 minutes to 1 hour
2. Assistant Imam – 30 minutes
4. Witr
a. Short qunoot
b. Shafee style – 2 rakats, then 1 with dua – out loud
5. Isha will start promptly on time, if Imam not there then backup will lead, if not designate a person to lead
6. Each location will have a designated person for Adhan and Iqama
7. Every night
a. All dua requests must be given to the Imam before the beginning of Isha prayer. Dua will be made during witr.
b. Khatirah will be made 15 minutes before the beginning of Isha Prayer everyday in main center.
c. A recorded Tafsir of Ayahs being recited will be available online every day. Details will be sent soon in a separate email.
d. An interactive session with in-house scholars will start at 11:45 pm every day. Details will be sent soon in a separate email.
e. Fund-raising will be held at each location during weekend. We have to raise $500K during Ramadan to cover the operational expenses of 2012.
f. General announcements will be made every day at main center after 4 rakat.
E. Night of 27th and 29th of Ramadan
a. Joint 29th night khatm on 8/16
b. Joint 27th night 8/14
F. Main Center – General guidelines
a. Baby Sitting is available every day in lower level class rooms
b. Youth programs will be organized in lower level class rooms after 4 rakat under the supervision of ADAMS Youth director.
c. Families with younger children are requested to pray in the upper level prayer area.
d. Iftar will be served everyday during Ramadan at ADAMS
e. Sahoor will be served during last 10 days of Ramadan.
f. Please do not park in the fire lane around the building.
g. Please do not park in the neighborhood.
h. Please follow instructions of the Security team in the parking lot and inside the building.
i. Overflow parking is available in designated areas. Please follow the instructions of the Security team in the parking lot for overflow parking areas.
j. All overflow parking spots must be cleared after 8 rakat. Please do not park your cars in the overflow area of the parking lot, if you wish to leave after 4 rakat.
k. Please keep your slippers/shoes in the shoe racks. Please do not keep your shoes in the foyer.
G. Itekhaf and Tahajuud prayers - Details will be sent soon in a separate email.
