ADAMS CEP Curriculum Outline for Pre-K

Al-Tawhid: Have the children repeatedly say 'Allah is One' and 'He created everything'.

Creator: Show and talk about the creations of Allah by showing them the pictures of mountains, trees, animals, oceans, moon, sky, sun, day and night, and weather. (Example: make a 'My Book of Allah's Creation'.)

Blessing and Anger of Allah (through rain as an example):

Blessing: A beautiful garden of flowers and vegetables

Anger: Story of Prophet Noah's ark

Ninety-Nine Names of Allah, that reflect the qualities of Allah: Have a chart of Allah's names and encourage them to memorize a few of them with meanings.

Thanking Allah: Encourage them to thank Allah, remind them how much they have to be thankful to him for.

Dua's: Teach them du'as at the beginning of eating, at the end of eating and before going to sleep. Have them practice the du'as by saying them before and after eating. (Remind them not to waste food.)

Break: Have them pretend to go to sleep to practice du'a.

Five Pillars of Islam: Introduce them to five pillars of Islam, using songs on audiotape. Encourage memorization of shahadah through repetition.

Arabic Alphabets: Use 'Alif for Allah' videotape to familiarize them with Arabic alphabets.
