In 1947, the partition of greater India into newly-formed India and Pakistan (East & West) violently separated families, friends, neighbors and co-religionists across greater South Asia. We are honored to present a first-hand account of that traumatic event 76 years ago – this Sunday, April 28th at 4pm inside the Qahwa Cafe (ADAMS Center – Sterling).

Join us for a captivating 21+ late-night tea talk with our beloved Imam Mohamed Magid. Together, we will explore answers and reflections from Imam Magid and the audience to important questions of the heart. This month, we are discussing how to keep up the momentum we have built after Ramadan by exploring the question: why am I struggling so much with my salah goals?

Please come with a notebook and your own water bottle. At the beginning of the event, we will be collecting questions from the audience related to the topic, so come prepared to share your voice!

Community Members 40+: We welcome all members of our community over 21 to attend our event! We ask that those not in the young adults and young professionals age range (21-39), purchase a ticket as a donation to allow us to keep this event free and accessible to ADAMS Young Adults and Young Professionals!

Join us on Sunday, April 28th at 6PM at ADAMS Center (Sterling) as we embark on this sacred journey of self-discovery and spiritual refinement. Don’t miss this opportunity with Dr. Haifaa Younis to enrich your soul and elevate your spiritual experience. This is a sisters only event.

The Rijaal returns! Translated from the Arabic word for “Men” and led by Imam Abdul Malik Merchant, the latest iteration of this series draws from the wisdom of Imam al-Ghazali’s “Adab Al-Suhba” (The Duties of Brotherhood), a chapter Ihya Uloom Al-Deen.
This event takes place every Tuesday after Maghrib (8:15) in the Upstairs Musullah and consists of a short talk by Imam Merchant, followed by questions and comments from attendees. Open to youth and young professionals looking to learn what it takes to be a better man, according to our scholars in the Islamic tradition. Men 18+ Only.
