The ADAMS New Muslim Support Group is available to provide education and resources to new Muslims and individuals interested in Islam. Please contact us for any specific requests or questions at
Islam 101 series is open to anyone who is interested in basic Islamic knowledge. This class takes place at 7pm every Thursday, all year long. The curriculum is built to allow students to join at any time, and there are no fees or registration necessary. Classes are held at the ADAMS Sterling in room 303 on the upper level. How to Perform Salah (Prayer) is an individualized course teaching the basics of the Muslim prayer. This class is for those who are new to Islam or for any adult who wants to learn how to pray. Classes are designed to address the different aspects of prayer at an effective and engaging pace tailored to each student. There are no fees or registration. The class is held every Thursdays at 8pm in room 303. Please email for more information.
Learn to Read Quran is a class available to adults interested in learning the basics of how to read the Quran. The class is primarily focused on assisting new Muslims with learning to read Quranic Arabic. These classes run on a five month schedule, on Mondays at 7pm and Thursdays at 6pm.
