ADAMS 19th Annual PEACE

Gathering and Public Safety Appreciation Event

Sep 10th 6:30PM to 9:30PM

Asalam 'Alaikum

Greetings! On behalf of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society, we would like to invite you, your friends, and your congregants to the 19th Annual ADAMS PEACE Gathering and Law Enforcement/Public Safety Appreciation Event on Tuesday, September 10th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the ADAMS Sterling Center - New Basement Social Hall. We hope you can honor us and the Gathering attendees with your presence. We will have dinner together, as well.

Please RSVP here - https://sep10-adamspeacegathering.eventbrite.com

We hope you and your family can join us at our 19th annual event to reflect on PEACE and GOODWILL to members of all faiths, all over the world. The Peace Gathering will allow us to reflect on and remember all the victims, and their families, of the tragic events of Sept 11, 2001. We will honor the efforts of Law Enforcement/Public Safety Organizations. We will also be remembering The Daughter (Ms. Shakila Yasmin) and Son-In Law(Nurul Haque Mian) of Mr. Sharif A.Chowdhury(Community Member of ADAMS), who were among the victims that were killed in the World Trade Center on 9/11. Muslims condemn terrorism and extremism.

We condemn terrorism and violent extremism. We pray for the defeat of extremism and terrorism. We pray for the safety and security of our country and its people. We pray for the safety and security of all inhabitants of our planet. We pray that interfaith harmony, cooperation, and respect prevail both here at home and all around the globe.

This is a chance for us all to remember that Peace is a goal that comes only through the efforts and dedication of people of all faiths.

The gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 6:30PM-9:30PM at ADAMS Sterling Center - New Basement Social Hall.

Address: 46903 Sugarland Road, Sterling, VA 20164
